I had used 1&1 for years and watched as they slowly turned into GoDaddy. I registered a bunch of .design TDLs with NameCheap.com and 1&1 said I couldn’t add them to my hosting account and couldn’t give me an answer as to when I would be able to add them to my account.
I backed up my account, cancelled it and did a search for “Best Web Hosting”. I stumbled on SiteGround. Not only does someone that actually knows what they are talking about answers the support number in no longer than 1-3 minutes they also answer tickets in 15 minutes! I truly hope they keep the support the way it is as they grow. I am recommending them to anyone and everyone!

Had an e-mail issue. Couldn’t fix it myself. Logged into Chat. It said 24 people ahead of you. If you see that anywhere else – like British Telecom (BT) you know that means ages to wait, but here the Chat agent responded in 30 seconds. And had the fault ( I had the wrong password and Thunderbird had tried it too many times so the host blocked my IP) resolved in less than 3 minutes. As per the other reviewers here – the service really is refreshing good. In fact it’s excellent.

I can’t say enough about how great SiteGround’s service is. I used to use at Hostgator and often had to wait 15+ minutes to reach a representative. SiteGround chat and email reply service is very quick. They also helped me easily get my Wordpress site up and running. Can’t beat them for service and friendliness!!

Within ONE HOUR of signing up, they:
1. Transferred, for free, my website from the old host and had it up and running perfectly (blazing download speeds so far).
2. Created a sub-domain for a second site, pre-loaded WordPress and created a staging site so I could keep the old version running on the previous site while I build the new version.
