1. HelpJet

HelpJet

HelpJet is an affordable and easy-to-use AI chatbot built specifically for WordPress and WooCommerce sites. It automatically trains itself on your existing site content, like your pages, posts, help docs, and PDFs, so you don’t have to build out conversation flows manually.

When we tested it, setup took about 5 minutes. We installed the plugin, chose which post types to pull from, and it started learning from our content right away.

It also re-scans your site every week to stay current, and the manual refresh option was handy for testing changes without waiting.

If you run a WooCommerce store, HelpJet can also answer pre-sale and post-sale questions using real product data, like variations, stock levels, shipping classes, and tax rules.

When it can’t answer something, it hands the conversation off to a team member instead of leaving visitors stuck.

By default, HelpJet shows up as a floating chat widget on your site, but you’re not limited to that. You can also drop the chatbot directly into a specific post or page using a block or shortcode.

In addition, HelpJet includes a built-in analytics dashboard. It tracks conversation volume, satisfaction rate, and resolution rate, and shows you the questions customers ask most, which is a useful way to spot gaps in your documentation.

Pricing: HelpJet has a free forever plan that includes 1 bot and 100 interactions per month. The Pro plan starts at $29 per month (around $23 per month billed annually) for 3 bots and 1,000 interactions per month.

  1. I’m currently seeking a solution for a company website where a chat function would serve as the first line of quick customer support, seamlessly integrated with a comprehensive knowledge base to help users resolve basic issues on their own. The Heoric KB AI Assistant really caught my attention, as it appears to fulfill both of these needs effectively. Given that it’s a corporate website with a slightly higher budget for such tools, the pricing also seems quite reasonable. It looks like a robust option, and since I use ChatGPT almost daily, I’m definitely eager to explore this plugin further. I’m confident it could be the perfect solution, and I plan to propose it as our go-to tool for customer support.

  2. Intercom is only one I have experienced, as you have said, it is very flexible that can be used as a chatbot or for live chat.
It’s integration with Analytics and email makes me love it, although no have not tried the rest but maybe in future.

  3. Another great list of useful tool for making an easy chatbot for our websites.
I have not implemented any of these as I didn’t get the need to , but maybe I would need to explore these options for myself or for my clients.
I will definitely go through these and explore these options.
