Here is my take on the book. I have a copy of Digging into WordPress. I feel it is a MUST have book. It is also nice to grab the book instead of searching through the codex. IF wordpress.org fixed the codex, I would saying do not buy. Plus, they will update the pdf with each new release. It is worth the cash for the pdf and print versions. The last 2 chapters deal with only the 2.9 and 3.0 releases. VERY VERY informative. Here is a picture of the book: http://twitpic.com/31e6jt

I have learned so much more using Digging into WordPress.

I’m well cheesed off – I bought this ebook ages ago when it first came out, and I now have v2 of this book. I haven’t had any emails about this update!
