The folks over at Max Foundry has released a new plugin called MaxButtons which allows you to quickly and easily create beautiful CSS3 call-to-action buttons to use anywhere on your WordPress site. You can create unlimited buttons built-on-the-fly as you select options. The buttons works well with all modern browsers and degrades gracefully for others. You have all CSS3 options like text shadows, box shadows, gradients, and rounded corner borders. Let us walk you through using MaxButtons plugin to create amazing call-to-action buttons.
Remember, a good call-to-action button can increase your conversion rates on landing pages, squeeze pages, and sales pages.
First thing you need to do is install and activate the MaxButtons plugin. Then all you need to do is simply watch the video below or read the summary of the video afterwards:
Click on the menu called MaxButtons. Then click on the Add New Button. You will be shown a screen with CSS3 options. Play around with it until you get what you like.

Great plugin- thanks for putting me onto it. It has to be the easiest way to embed dufferent call to actions.
Great plugin for a newbie like me. When I added the [maxbutton id="1"] for embeding in a web page the button broke in half and put half on one line and the other on another line below overlapping. What happened????
Sounds like a CSS issue happening here. Probably best to contact the plugin staff on this.
love your post …why it wont work on firefox?
love your post …why it wont work on firefox?
love it .
love it .ny ideas why it wont work in Firefox?
Hey thanks for this plugin. it works great except for one minor bug. maby you can help me out with it.. bear in mind i’m a total noob when it comes to this.
i’m making a maxbutton for each site that say’s “Back To Top” to bring people to the top of the site again.
I have hidden in the code for the page (theme Twenty ten)And when I make the maxbutton I type in URL #top
it works as it is suposed to on every browser except for Firefox.. even works on my phone.. any ideas why it wont work in Firefox? all other buttons work in Firefox btw.
@Atorion Sounds like a browser compatibility issue which most likely is being caused by the conflicts of JS on your page. Unfortunately, we do not provide free support on custom issues like those.
@wpbeginner Allright! Was worth the shot
Thanks though! and thanks for a good plugin again. I had to search a while to find this and it was worth it
Try just using # as the URL instead of #top
It looks very nice. I am a real beginner, and I am trying hard to put it in my wp, actually in squeeze page from Max.
it seems I can’t put the button to validate a form.
The end of my form goes like this :
How can I put the maxbutton ?
Can anybody help please ?
@remy66 This plugin does not work for input buttons in the forms… It is more for creating CTA buttons which are hyperlinks.
@wpbeginner Thank you for your quick response. I will stop losing my time
This is a super plugin, especially for the newbie that wants cool buttons withoiut trying to learn CSS or Photoshop! Very nicely played! Thanks!
nice plugin thanks!
this is great i need this , thanks man thumbs up
That is a great find. Thanks
looks pretty sweet!
@crgwilson43 Thank you. If you ever like to see something on the site, then feel free to let us know.
@drkahoving Didn’t try it with Headway Themes. However, it should work.
Do you know if this works with HEADWAY theme? I have found a bunch of plugins do NOT work with Headway and weird things start happening! (Still trying to find some follow me buttons that will work with headway – they suggested a few and they didn’t work either!)
Thanks
Have you been able to find a call button to work with Headway yet? I have not.
Never tried it with Headway.
Looks like a great plugin! Have a project I’m working on right now that I’m going to give it a try on. BTW love the info you guys consistently provide.
@wpbeginner Thanks, will do.
@maxfoundry glad you like it. The plugin looks great
Keep up the great work.
@wpbeginner Thanks for the great post about MaxButtons, especially the feedback. Google Web Fonts and a floating design box are on the list.
