WordPress 3.3 – “Sonny” is Released

Just a few moments ago, WordPress 3.3 was released. The version is named “Sonny” in honor of the great jazz saxophonist Sonny Stitt. WordPress has had over 65 million downloads since version 3.0 was released, and in this third major iteration they have added significant polish around the new user experience, navigation, uploading, and imports.     yep wordpress is always be a good platform and its new release 3.3 is awesome specially i like is flyout menu and its JQery 1.7.1 enabled still its having few bugs which i mentioned in my blog hope it will get recover soon

    What about its performance regarding the non-standard permalinks and “forbidden” ones (like /%category%/%postname%/ structure)?

      @danzell Its no longer forbidden… If you look in the permalinks, they are now even suggesting /%postname%/

        @wpbeginner@MarkStanwyck Yes, Both the versions of popup domination is breaking the dashboard and showing white screen.

        So make sure to disable it, before upgrading to 3.3 !
