    Personally I like the Theme my login plugin better. It gives you a widget for the sidebar which is awesome.

    There is a way easier way if you are uncomfortable messing with your functions.php file. You can download the plugin login-logo. Once installed and activated all you need to do then is upload your desired logo (a .png with a clear background works best) to your sites main folder through your FTP and It will appear the next time you access your site.com/WP-admin to login.
