Comment vérifier votre site WordPress sur Pinterest

Avant de commencer, vous devrez mettre à niveau votre profil Pinterest vers un compte professionnel. Cela vous permettra d’utiliser tous leurs outils Pro comme les analyses, le programme de publicités, et plus encore. Le compte professionnel Pinterest est gratuit et facile à configurer.

Étape par étape : Passer à la version professionnelle de votre compte Pinterest

Tout d’abord, vous devez vous connecter à votre compte Pinterest et cliquer sur la flèche vers le bas en haut à droite de votre écran. Ensuite, cliquez sur l’option  » Déverrouiller les outils commerciaux « .

Sur l’écran suivant, vous verrez une liste des fonctionnalités offertes par le compte professionnel.

Pour utiliser ces fonctionnalités, cliquez sur le bouton « Passer à l’entreprise ».

Saisissez ensuite les détails de votre compte professionnel, tels que le nom du profil, l’URL du site, le pays et la langue.

Une fois toutes ces informations saisies/saisie, cliquez sur le bouton « Suivant ».

Pinterest va maintenant vous demander de décrire votre entreprise. Vous pouvez sélectionner un secteur d’activité dans le menu déroulant et choisir 3 objectifs parmi les options proposées.

Cliquez ensuite sur le bouton « Suivant ».

Sur l’écran suivant, il vous sera demandé de sélectionner une option pour obtenir des recommandations personnalisées.

Une fois que vous avez fait cela, assurez-vous de cliquer sur le bouton « Suivant ».

Maintenant, il vous sera demandé de sélectionner une option si vous êtes intéressé par des annonces sur Pinterest, puis de cliquer sur le bouton  » Suivant « .

Pour ce tutoriel, vous pouvez sélectionner l’option « Aucun, je n’ai pas l’intention de faire de la publicité ».

Ensuite, Pinterest vous affichera différentes options pour démarrer avec votre compte professionnel.

Vous pouvez cliquer sur l’icône en forme de croix dans le coin supérieur droit pour passer cette partie.

Étape par étape : Inscrire votre site sur Pinterest

L’étape suivante consiste à revendiquer votre site sur Pinterest.

Pour ce faire, vous pouvez cliquer sur le bouton  » Claim domain  » depuis la page de votre hub Pinterest Business, et vous serez directement dirigé vers la page des Réglages de la réclamation.

Une autre façon de revendiquer votre site est de cliquer sur la flèche vers le bas dans le coin supérieur droit et de sélectionner l’option « Réglages ». Puis, dirigez-vous vers la section « Réclamer » dans le menu de gauche.

Pour obtenir le crédit de votre contenu sur Pinterest, cliquez sur le bouton « Réclamer » pour les sites web.

Une fois que vous avez cliqué sur le bouton, une fenêtre surgissante apparaît avec trois options pour réclamer votre site WordPress.

Nous choisissons l’option « Ajouter un identifiant HTML » parce que c’est la plus facile.

Toutefois, si vous préférez, vous pouvez choisir l’autre option qui consiste à télécharger le fichier HTML et à le téléverser dans le répertoire racine de votre site web à l’aide d’un client FTP ou du gestionnaire de fichiers de votre site hébergeur WordPress.

Vous pouvez également ajouter un enregistrement de vérification aux Réglages de votre domaine en utilisant votre registraire de domaine.

Étape par 3 : Ajouter une balise HTML à votre site WordPress

Il existe de multiples façons d’ajouter une Balise HTML à l’en-tête de votre site, mais nous aborderons uniquement les deux méthodes les plus simples.

Ajouter l’identifié HTML de Pinterest avec une extension SEO

Tout d’abord, vous pouvez utiliser l’extension WordPress All in One SEO (AIOSEO) et saisir l’identifiant HTML sur votre site. Pour plus de détails, suivez notre guide sur l’installation d’une extension WordPress.

Bien que nous recommandions la version Pro, vous pouvez également utiliser la version gratuite d’AIOSEO pour ajouter la vérification Pinterest.

Pour ajouter la balise HTML, allez dans All in One SEO  » Réglages généraux, puis cliquez sur l’onglet  » Outils pour les webmasters  » dans le menu supérieur.

Ensuite, cliquez sur le bloc  » Vérification du site Pinterest « .

Saisissez maintenant la Balise HTML que vous avez copiée à l’étape précédente dans le champ Vérification du site Pinterest.

Vous devez ensuite cliquer sur le bouton « Enregistrer les modifications ».

Ajouter un identifiant HTML Pinterest avec une extension Code Snippets

Outre l’utilisation d’AIOSEO, une autre façon d’ajouter l’identifié HTML est d’installer et d’activer l’extension WPCode.

Une fois activé, vous devez visiter la page Extraits de code  » En-tête et pied de page dans votre zone d’administration WordPress. Dans la section ‘En-tête’, vous devez coller l’identifié HTML. Cliquez ensuite sur le bouton « Enregistrer les modifications ».

Une fois la balise HTML ajoutée à la section de l’en-tête de votre site, vous devez revenir à l’écran de Pinterest et cliquer sur le bouton  » Continuer  » dans la fenêtre surgissante.

Il vous demande alors de saisir l’URL de votre site, puis de cliquer sur le bouton « Vérifier ».

Vous verrez alors apparaître le message suivant : « Vérification en cours ».

Normalement, le processus prend 24 heures et vous recevez un e-mail vous informant de la vérification de votre site.

Voilà, c’est fait ! Vous avez bien vérifié votre site WordPress sur Pinterest.

Astuce : Si Pinterest ne parvient pas à vérifier après que vous ayez ajouté le code de vérification, cela signifie que vous devez vider votre mise en cache WordPress.

    Hey,
    Thanks for this info!
    I used the AIOSEO and tried going back to my interest to confirm and it says no relevant meta tag was found. Do I have to wait some more to allow for verification?

      You would want to check that you’ve cleared any caching on your site as that is the most common reason for that message after adding the verification to your site.

    I have Wordfence on my WP.org website and it gives me a warning when I try to add the HTML tag I copied from Pinterest. Is it safe to ignore that and proceed?

      Once the site is verified you can remove it from your site but AIOSEO is used for much more than only verifying your site on Pinterest.

        Thank you so much, I followed the steps and got the notification verification in progress. How will I know when the website has been successfully claimed? Is it the email they will send? or what changes will I see on Pinterest to know its been successfully claimed.

      It would depend on where you are getting the error but the most likely reason would be if you hadn’t cleared all your caching we would recommend doing that to ensure Pinterest can see the tag properly

    I have claimed my website already and I accidentally deleted my header and footer plugin and now I’ve lost my meta tag for my claimed Pinterest account. I’m using SEO Yeost now. How do I find that meta tag again so I can input that into my SEO Pinterest section?

      Unless you edit the website claim on Pinterest, your site will remain claimed without you needing to include the tag

      You would want to ensure you’ve cleared all of your caching and that you don’t have a coming soon page up preventing Pinterest from seeing your code.

    I’ve done this, but after 22 hours or so Pinterest says it can’t find the meta data. Is it be because I have the coming soon page on? Or is security to high or something? If you can help. It happened with confirming gsuite email address aswel.

    Do you need to have the premium/paid version of the Yoast plug-in? I don’t have the options you refer to in your step by step process. The only place I can input anything regarding social is through the wizard, and this only allows for your social site url.

      The method in this guide does not require the paid plugin, you may want to ensure your Yoast SEO is up to date and you should be able to see the options under SEO>Social in your wp-admin area

    Hi there. I have been trying to claim my website for 3 days with no luck. I have literally tried every single way possible, but I just get a message after many hours telling me that they couldn’t find the HTML meta tag or the verification file. I am waiting on a reply from Pinterest. I don’t know what esle to do.

      Have you cleared all caching and reached out to your hosting provider to ensure they don’t have caching that would be showing the old page without the HTML tag?

    WP Beginner’s text version of how to claim your website helped me get further in the process than any of the similar how-to articles I’ve encountered on the internet. So, many thanks.

    When I say I got further in the process, I mean that I nearly completed it but not quite. When I selected the Pinterest tab, entered the meta tag at the Pinterest confirmation window, and hit save changes, no box appeared, pop-up or otherwise. Any idea what I should do next?

      There shouldn’t be a popup from Yoast when you save normally but it should be added to your site. Once you clear your cache and give Pinterest 48 hours to recrawl your site it should be able to see the tag.

    I’m not on a wordpress business plan, I think my plan’s called premium or personal (one step before business). Can I still verify my Pinterest account another way? The ways shown here don’t work for me, I don’t have yoast / seo link on my dashboard, and I don’t want to upgrade to a business plan at this stage just to enable plugins for this site verification.

    Hi I tried using both yoast and insert header footer widgets but both didn’t work. For yoast, there weren’t any options for SEO at all. For insert header footer widget, do I have to use it with elementor as I’m using that to build my website? Thanks.

      The insert headers and footers plugin is not a widget, it adds code to your header. You could check with Yoast if there is a conflict but the most common issue is if you have a caching plugin that is preventing the required code from being seen.

    I am having trouble accessing the wp-admin dashboard to select and customize a theme. Is it possible to upgrade the plan through Pinterest? If so, how much would it be? I do not need the expensive Word press business plan; I am not Tech savvy. I just need to launch a simple blog and promote educational, health, hair and beauty products without copyright violation.
