Tuttavia, se aggiungete più immagini al vostro sito WordPress, tutte le immagini appariranno una dopo l’altra. Non è una bella cosa e gli utenti dovranno scorrere molto per visualizzarle tutte.
Creando una galleria, è possibile visualizzare le immagini in un layout a griglia con colonne e righe. È possibile visualizzare le miniature delle immagini e gli utenti possono fare clic su di esse per vedere l’immagine completa.

Metodo 1: Creare una galleria di immagini con l’editor di blocchi di WordPress
Se volete creare una galleria di immagini utilizzando l’editor di blocchi di WordPress, questo metodo fa al caso vostro. Tuttavia, tenete presente che questa funzione è molto semplice e non ha molte opzioni.
Per prima cosa, è necessario aprire un post/pagina esistente o nuovo in cui si desidera creare la galleria dalla barra laterale dell’amministrazione di WordPress.
Una volta lì, basta fare clic sul pulsante “+” nell’angolo in alto a sinistra dello schermo. Da qui, trovare e aggiungere il blocco Galleria alla pagina o al post.

Tuttavia, se si desidera caricare immagini dalla libreria multimediale, è necessario fare clic sul pulsante “Libreria multimediale”.
Se si fa clic sul pulsante “Carica”, in genere è possibile caricare una foto alla volta dal computer.

Una volta aggiunte tutte le immagini, è sufficiente fare clic sul pulsante “Crea una nuova galleria”.
In questo modo si accede alla pagina “Modifica galleria” nel prompt della mediateca.
Da qui è possibile selezionare le singole immagini e aggiungervi una didascalia, un titolo, una descrizione o un testo alt.
Una volta terminato, è sufficiente fare clic sul pulsante “Inserisci galleria” nell’angolo in basso a destra.
La galleria di immagini creata sarà ora aggiunta all’editor di WordPress.
È inoltre possibile personalizzarlo ulteriormente selezionando il blocco Galleria e configurandone le impostazioni dal pannello dei blocchi sulla destra.
Ad esempio, si può usare il cursore ‘Colonne’ per decidere il numero di colonne e righe delle gallerie.
È anche possibile attivare l’interruttore “Ritaglia immagine” per ritagliare le miniature per un migliore allineamento.
Tra le opzioni di “Collegamento a”, è possibile scegliere Nessuno se si desidera che gli utenti visualizzino solo la foto. Questa opzione disattiva la funzione di clic per le immagini.
Tuttavia, se si seleziona l’opzione “File multimediale”, le immagini saranno cliccabili e il file immagine si aprirà quando si fa clic. Allo stesso modo, la pagina degli allegati si aprirà se si seleziona l’opzione “Pagina degli allegati”.
Una volta soddisfatte le impostazioni, fare clic sul pulsante “Pubblica” o “Aggiorna” in alto per memorizzare le impostazioni.
Infine, potete visitare il vostro blog WordPress per vedere la galleria di immagini in azione.
Ora avete creato facilmente una galleria di immagini per il vostro sito web. Tuttavia, noterete subito che manca di alcune caratteristiche essenziali.
Ad esempio, le immagini non saranno cliccabili o si apriranno in una nuova pagina. Se si collegano le immagini della galleria al file multimediale o alla pagina degli allegati, gli utenti dovranno cliccare sul pulsante indietro per visualizzare nuovamente la galleria.

Metodo 2: Creare una galleria di immagini con Envira Gallery (consigliato)
Se volete creare una galleria di immagini più funzionale ed esteticamente gradevole per il vostro sito WordPress, questo metodo fa al caso vostro.
Utilizzeremo il plugin Envira Gallery, che è il miglior plugin per gallerie di immagini per WordPress sul mercato.
Envira consente di creare facilmente gallerie di immagini completamente reattive, belle e moderne in WordPress. È velocissimo e dotato di molte funzioni, come un lightbox popup, una facile navigazione delle immagini, un costruttore drag-and-drop e modelli di gallerie professionali.
Innanzitutto, è necessario installare e attivare il plugin Envira Gallery. Per maggiori dettagli, consultate la nostra guida passo passo su come installare un plugin di WordPress.
Dopo l’attivazione, accedere alla pagina Envira Gallery ” Impostazioni dalla dashboard di WordPress per inserire la chiave di licenza.
È possibile ottenere questa chiave dal proprio account sul sito web di Envira Gallery.

Una volta arrivati a questo punto, indicare un titolo per la galleria e fare clic sul pulsante “Seleziona i file dal computer” per caricare le immagini.
È anche possibile caricare immagini dalla libreria multimediale di WordPress facendo clic sul pulsante “Seleziona file da altre fonti”.
Tenere presente che se si utilizza questa opzione, è possibile caricare solo una singola immagine alla volta dalla libreria multimediale.
Dopo aver caricato le immagini, scorrere fino alla sezione “Galleria”, dove appariranno tutte le foto.
Successivamente, è possibile fare clic sull’icona a forma di matita nella parte superiore di ogni immagine per aprire la richiesta “Modifica metadati” sullo schermo.
Da qui è possibile aggiungere la didascalia, lo stato, il titolo e il testo alternativo per le singole immagini.
Una volta terminato, non dimenticate di fare clic sul pulsante “Salva metadati” per salvare le didascalie delle immagini.
Successivamente, è necessario fare clic sulla scheda “Configurazione” nella barra laterale a sinistra.
Da qui è possibile modificare il layout della galleria, compreso il numero di colonne, il caricamento pigro delle immagini, le dimensioni delle immagini, il posizionamento del titolo e della didascalia, i margini, le altezze, le dimensioni delle miniature, le dimensioni delle immagini e altro ancora.
Quindi, passare alla scheda “Lightbox” dalla barra laterale sinistra e selezionare l’opzione “Abilita Lightbox”.
Questa opzione consente ora agli utenti di ingrandire le immagini e di sfogliarle senza mai lasciare la pagina.
Le altre impostazioni predefinite possono essere lasciate così come sono, perché funzionano molto bene per la maggior parte dei siti web, ma è possibile rivedere le opzioni e modificarle se lo si desidera.
Quindi, fare clic sulla scheda “Mobile” per configurare le impostazioni della galleria per i dispositivi mobili.
Da qui è possibile scegliere le dimensioni delle immagini per i dispositivi mobili, attivare o disattivare Lightbox, attivare/disattivare le didascalie delle immagini e altro ancora.
Successivamente, è possibile rivedere altre opzioni come lo slug della galleria e l’aggiunta di CSS personalizzati dalla sezione ‘Misc’.
Una volta soddisfatte le impostazioni, basta fare clic sul pulsante “Pubblica” in alto per memorizzare le modifiche.
Successivamente, è necessario aprire un post o una pagina in cui si desidera incorporare la galleria.
Una volta arrivati, fare clic sul pulsante “+” nell’angolo superiore sinistro dello schermo per aprire il menu di blocco.
Successivamente, è sufficiente trovare e aggiungere il blocco Envira Gallery alla pagina o al post.
Una volta fatto ciò, è necessario aggiungere la propria galleria di immagini dal menu a discesa del blocco Envira Gallery.
Infine, fare clic sul pulsante “Aggiorna” o “Pubblica” in alto per salvare le modifiche.
Ora è possibile visualizzare la galleria di immagini sul proprio sito web WordPress.

I just started using standard wordpress image galleries. When I add images to the gallery, if I do not have enough images to fill an entire row, the last row’s image is displayed at a size that allows the image to fill the full width of the container. So the default of 3 images per row applies until the row runs out of images, then I get a final row with a giant image. Is there a way to force every image to the same size so that the gallery just has all images the same size, regardless of whether the row it appears in is full?

I found this very difficult to follow, my WordPress is set up very different. The date at the top says Jan 2020, but there are comments from 2016? When was this created? I’m using th wordpress gallery creator. When I create a gallery with 3 columns in 2 rows of pictures, it looks good. But when I click on Preview, it shows me what my webpage will look like but it has the pictures all on top of one another and not in the 3 columns & 2 rows like I wanted.

I am trying to add an image gallery that has links to various external pages (i.e. you click on an image and it brings you to that website.) I have determined that this is difficult to do with the WP gallery because they want all the images to go to the same linked page, but I want each of my images to go to a different page. It seems envira is not free. I downloaded gridplus and gridable but am still struggling with how to do this. ideas??

My blogs show as individual thimble images on the front blog page. If you hover over image you see the title. My issue is when you click on my blog page it looks like I have nil blogs as it takes up to 20 seconds for all images to show. Can you have the blogs list as titles rather images? If i hide featured image the boxed appear blank which is worse.

How do you delete images from a gallery? I created the gallery and published it, but when i put the mouse over the picture, it show a red square with two small silver squares that says: “view attachment page’ and “view in full size”
How can i remove it? I wanna make it like in facebook, that you just put the mouse over, click and see the carousel.

I did what you suggest above to create a simple gallery on a webpage. It shows up beautifully. However whenever I click on one of the thumb nail images it says : “image cannot be loaded. Make sure path is correct and image exist”.
