Not too long ago, we were talking about WordPress 3.0, but from the looks of the development track, we are on our way to WordPress 3.1. From the scope, it looks like the new version will be out sometime in mid December 2010. There are some very exciting features that will be added, so lets get right on it.
WordPress is a great platform and that is only because it has a great community behind it. There are thousands of plugins in the repository that are available for FREE. Thank you awesome plugin developers who gave us that gift. Now it is our turn to give back.
Last week, we were able to work out a deal with one of the biggest Content Delivery Networks (CDN) known as MaxCDN to accelerate WPBeginner’s load time. Earlier this week, we made a few changes to WPBeginner in terms of site optimization.
Most hyped up WordPress 3.0 has been officially released. WordPress 3.0 is one of the thirteenth major release of WordPress open-source platform. Along with some of the most impressive features, this release also fixed 1217 bugs. Some of our favorite features include: Twenty Ten Theme, Advanced Menus, Custom Post Types, and ability to upgrade multiple plugins from the plugins page.
WordPress 3.0 is coming out very soon (May 1, 2010). The first beta version of WordPress 3.0 is already out for users to try out. You should try it on a test blog to see all the cool features. Apple’s new iPad is creating a buzz just like every other Apple product. There was over 700,000 copies sold in one day. WordPress announced a new version of their application called WordPress for iPhone/iPad OS 2.4. This is the first version of the WordPress app that is compatible Apple’s iPad.
Uzzz Productions have been slammed with a major financial obstacle due to this recession. After having a group meeting with all WPBeginner editors, Uzzz Productions staff, and our financial manager, we have decided to pull the plug on this project.
