Hostinger Review: Still Worth in 2026? (Real Tests and Personal Review)

Hostinger is one of the fastest-growing web hosting companies in the world, serving more than 4 million customers in over 150 countries. But if you’re like most smart people, you don’t pick a web host based on popularity, and you want to see real speed test results first.

In July 2026, I tested Hostinger the same way I tested 14 other WordPress hosting companies, with an identical WordPress site on a custom domain, the same tools, and the same checklist. This Hostinger review shows the real numbers from my rigorous hosting speed test using industry-standard benchmarking tools.

Quick Answer – Is Hostinger Worth It?

Yes, Hostinger is worth it for most people who want to start a WordPress website, and it is our best overall WordPress hosting pick. It scored 88 out of 100 on our WPBeginner Score, tied for the highest score we gave any host we tested.

In our hosting speed test, the Hostinger site loaded with a 659 ms LCP (Largest Contentful Paint), and it delivered the fastest average global response time in our entire test group. I have also hosted my own personal sites on Hostinger for more than 5 years, so this review draws on real long-term use.

Their entry plan costs $2.69 per month with our link and includes 3 websites and a free domain for the first year. However, if you have a high-traffic eCommerce website, then you may want to look at a more managed WordPress hosting provider like Levamo.

About Hostinger

Hostinger started in 2011, and its origin story goes back to 2004, when the team launched their first web hosting brand in Kaunas, Lithuania. Today it serves more than 4 million customers in over 150 countries.

Hostinger web hosting

I have been using Hostinger for more than 5 years to host small personal projects, hobby blogs, and family websites. That experience informs this review, but the verdict below comes from what my hosting speed test actually measured.

Pros and Cons of Hostinger

Pros

  • 659 ms LCP and a 1.1 second full page load in our speed test
  • 227 ms average global response time – the best of all the hosts we tested
  • Held a 21 ms P95 response in our 50-user stress test with no failed requests
  • One-click WordPress install and hPanel, one of the clearest dashboards I have used
  • Free domain for the first year and 2 free email mailboxes per site for the first year
  • 100% uptime during our 30-day monitoring window

Cons

  • 3 websites and 20 GB storage on the entry plan, where Bluehost gives 10 websites at a similar price
  • The $2.69 headline price requires a 48-month term paid upfront
  • Renews at $10.99 per month after the first term
  • No phone support on any plan
  • The entry plan skips the CDN, AI tools, and priority support – those start on the Business plan, where Bluehost includes a CDN at a similar price

How I Tested Hostinger (Methodology)

I used the same testing protocol for every hosting company in our comparison. I set up an identical WordPress site with a default theme and test content, including images, on a custom domain with no caching plugins.

Then I ran the same four tests – GTmetrix for speed and LCP, k6 for stress with 50 virtual users at the same time, a response-time test from 6 global regions, and 30 days of UptimeRobot monitoring.

Those four tests make up the performance side of the WPBeginner Score, which counts for 80% of the total. Each test carries a set weight, so no single lucky number can carry a host.

The other 20% of the score comes from value. For that part I look at what the plan really costs and gives you in return – the intro price, the renewal price, how many sites and how much storage you get, the plan limits, and the quality of support.

The full methodology, the exact weights, and every host’s raw numbers are in our best WordPress hosting guide.

Hostinger Performance Test Results

Below you can find my full Hostinger speed test results.

Speed Test – 659 ms LCP

Largest Contentful Paint (LCP) measures how quickly the main content of a page appears. It is the speed number Google’s Core Web Vitals care about most.

My Hostinger test site showed an LCP of 659 ms, and the full page finished loading in 1.1 seconds.

Hostinger speed test result showing 659 ms LCP and 1.1 s page load time

That result beats similarly priced hosts like Bluehost (933 ms) and DreamHost (986 ms) on the same test. The fastest host in our comparison, Levamo, loaded in 358 ms, but it costs about ten times more per month.

For a $2.69 shared hosting plan with no caching plugins installed, this is a strong speed result.

Server Response Time – 227 ms Global Average

Speed test tools load the whole page with images included, but that’s only one part of the performance. To see raw server speed, I also measured time to first byte (TTFB) from data centers in 6 regions around the world.

Hostinger averaged 227 ms across the 6 regions. That was the best average response time of all the hosts we tested.

Global response time test for Hostinger

Response times stayed strong across North America, Europe, and Asia. South America was the slowest region at a 440 ms TTFB, which is still quicker than the global averages of several hosts in our comparison.

If your audience is spread around the world, a CDN will serve your content from locations closer to your visitors. Hostinger includes its CDN on the Business plan and higher, so factor that into your plan choice.

Stress Test – 21 ms P95 Under Load

To see how a host behaves under a traffic spike, I sent 50 virtual users to the test site with k6 by Grafana Labs and recorded the P95 response time.

Hostinger held a 21 ms P95 response time with no failed requests. Its LiteSpeed cache kicked in immediately and kept response times flat as the traffic climbed.

Stress test result for Hostinger

This was one of the strongest under-load results in our comparison. It means a growing blog or a small online store on Hostinger can absorb a sudden traffic spike without slowing down.

Uptime – 100% Over 30 Days

I monitored the Hostinger test site with UptimeRobot, checking every 5 minutes. Over the 30-day window, it recorded 100% uptime with no incidents.

Hostinger uptime test result

Hostinger backs its hosting with a 99.9% uptime guarantee, and in our monitoring window, it stayed above its own promise. That result matches my long-term experience with my own sites there, which have never faced downtime that needed my attention.

How Hostinger Compares to Other Hosts We Tested

The speed test numbers on their own do not give you the full picture. Here is how Hostinger performed compared to other similarly priced hosts from our comparison, all tested with the identical setup.

HostLCPGlobal responseUptimeIntro / renewalWPBeginner Score
Hostinger659 ms227 ms100%$2.69 / $10.9988 / 100
Bluehost933 ms599 ms100%$2.99 / $9.9969 / 100
SiteGround608 ms369 ms99.96%$2.99 / $17.9975 / 100
DreamHost986 ms658 ms100%$1.99 / $7.9964 / 100

The WPBeginner Score weighs performance at 80% and value at 20%. Hostinger’s 88 reflects exactly what you see above. It leads this group on response time, beats most of it on speed, and packs more tools into its entry plan than most hosts at this price.

Hostinger’s Infrastructure and Technology

Most other Hostinger reviews skip what’s under the hood on their shared hosting platform, but I believe it’s worth highlighting.

Caching and speed – Hostinger’s shared plans run LiteSpeed caching, which is the layer that kept our stress test at a 21 ms response. Hostinger also lists one-click object caching among its WordPress optimization features.

Control panel – instead of cPanel, Hostinger built its own control panel called hPanel. It covers the same jobs, including WordPress installs, email, databases, a PHP version manager, and a drag-and-drop file manager.

Data centers – Hostinger runs servers in the USA, Europe (France, Germany, the Netherlands, Lithuania, and the United Kingdom), Asia (Indonesia and Singapore), and South America (Brazil).

CDN and security – every plan gets a free SSL certificate, DDoS protection, and Cloudflare-protected nameservers, and the CDN comes with the Business plan and higher. Developers also get Git access on shared plans.

File limits – hosting providers often cap the number of files your account can hold, and that cap is usually the first thing a growing site hits. Hostinger allows 400,000 files on the Premium plan and up to 2 million on its entry cloud plan, so a media-heavy site can stay on a cheap plan for years.

Hostinger Hosting Plans and Pricing

Hostinger offers shared, cloud, VPS, and eCommerce hosting, plus a website builder. For most readers of this review, the shared WordPress plans are the relevant ones.

Hotinger pricing plans
  • Premium – 3 websites, 20 GB SSD storage, weekly backups, a free domain for the first year, and 2 free email mailboxes per site for the first year. $2.69 per month with our link on a 48-month term, renews at $10.99 per month. The CDN, AI tools, and priority support are not included at this level – they start on the Business plan.
  • Business – unlimited websites and mailboxes, 50 GB NVMe storage, daily backups with easy restore, the CDN, integrated eCommerce tools, AI tools, and priority support. $3.41 per month with our link on a 48-month term, renews at $16.99 per month.
  • Cloud Startup – built for bigger sites and agencies, with 100 GB NVMe storage and daily and on-demand backups. $7.19 per month on a 48-month term, renews at $25.99 per month.

All plans include hPanel, a free SSL certificate, 1-click WordPress installation, free website migration, and a 30-day money-back guarantee.

Hostinger does not recommend the Premium plan for eCommerce stores with more than ten products. In my experience, a new blog or small business site will not outgrow Premium for a long time.

You can move to the Business plan when you need the CDN, the AI tools, daily backups, or more than 3 websites. Look at Cloud Startup when your store or your traffic starts to grow.

Free and Paid Hosting Addons

Hostinger’s headline price is honest, but a few extras follow first-year rules. Knowing these up front will save you surprise charges.

  • Free domain – free for the first year on the shared plans, then it renews at the regular domain price. If you cancel within the 30-day guarantee window, the refund does not include domain registration fees, but you get to keep your domain. This is fairly standard practice across shared hosts that offer a free domain.
  • Email mailboxes – each website gets 2 free mailboxes for the first year. After year one, keeping them becomes a paid add-on, which is also common across budget hosts.
  • Backups – Premium includes weekly backups, and daily backups start on the Business plan. I recommend you set up your own backup solution regardless of your hosting provider’s backup policy.
  • Refund rules – the money-back guarantee covers your hosting fees and runs for the first 30 days after signup. Add-ons like domain registration are excluded.

Hostinger for WordPress Beginners

Hostinger makes starting out easy. The 1-click WordPress installer sets up your site in minutes, and hPanel keeps your websites, domains, email, and security in one clean place.

Hostinger hPanel control panel dashboard

The AI toolkit goes further than what most budget hosts offer, though the site-building AI tools start on the Business plan. Every customer gets Kodee, an AI assistant that can troubleshoot common WordPress issues.

I was not expecting much from Kodee at first. But a few times when I ran into minor hosting issues, it solved my problem without me needing to wait for a human agent.

I would treat the AI tools as a convenience rather than a reason to choose a host. For a first-timer, though, they remove real friction.

Hostinger Customer Support

Hostinger offers 24/7 support over live chat and email, plus a large knowledge base with step-by-step tutorials. Priority response comes with the Business plan and higher, and there is no phone support on any plan.

Hostinger customer support

Kodee, the AI assistant, is your first touch point, and it handles most common questions instantly. You can ask for a human agent at any time, and in my experience the team responds quickly.

If you purchased your hosting through one of Hostinger’s local websites, such as hostinger.in, you can also get support in that local language.

To be fair, phone support is rare at budget hosting prices, and most hosts at this level stick to chat. Bluehost adds phone on its Business plan or higher, and of all the budget hosts that we tested, SiteGround was one of the few that included phone support on every plan.

Who Should Use Hostinger and Who Should Look Elsewhere

Choose Hostinger if you want the best overall mix of speed, tools, and price for a new WordPress website. Its 88 WPBeginner Score and its strong showing across all four of our tests make it the pick I recommend to most people.

Its 100% uptime in our monitoring backs the reliability claim.

Look elsewhere if you need phone support, since SiteGround includes it on every plan. The same goes if you want to run many websites on one cheap plan (Bluehost includes 10 on its entry plan), or you run a high-traffic eCommerce site that needs managed hosting under load, where Levamo is our pick (see our full hosting comparison).

Final Verdict – Is Hostinger the Right Choice for You?

Hostinger is the best overall WordPress host I tested this year. It pairs strong speed test results with more included tools than most similarly priced plans, and my own sites have run on it without trouble for more than 5 years.

My verdict – if you are starting a WordPress website and want the best overall value, visit Hostinger and start on the Premium plan. If you need phone support or run a high-traffic store, our best WordPress hosting comparison shows which host won each category on the same tests.

FAQs About Hostinger

1. What are the disadvantages of Hostinger?

Based on our tests and plan research, the main ones are the entry plan limits (3 websites and 20 GB storage, where some hosts give you more), the 48-month term required for the $2.69 price, the $10.99 per month renewal, and no phone support. Performance was not one of them, since Hostinger posted some of the strongest numbers in our comparison.

2. Is Hostinger good for beginners?

Yes. Hostinger installs WordPress in one click, hPanel is one of the clearest control panels I have used, and the Kodee AI assistant answers common questions instantly.

The AI website builder and 24/7 chat support round it out. It is our best overall pick for someone starting a new WordPress site.

3. Can Hostinger handle high traffic?

In our stress test, Hostinger held a 21 ms P95 response with 50 concurrent users and no failed requests, thanks to its LiteSpeed cache. That was one of the strongest under-load results we recorded.

For consistently high-traffic or eCommerce sites, a managed host like Levamo is still the safer long-term pick. Hostinger’s own cloud and VPS plans are also an easy upgrade path.

4. Is Hostinger better than Bluehost?

On our identical tests, Hostinger was faster. It loaded with a 659 ms LCP against Bluehost’s 933 ms, and its 227 ms global response beat Bluehost’s 599 ms.

Bluehost counters with 10 websites on its entry plan, where Hostinger includes 3, and the simplest setup for a first site. Our Hostinger vs Bluehost comparison goes deeper.

5. Why is Hostinger so cheap?

Hostinger keeps prices low by limiting server resources on each plan and by asking for a longer term upfront for the best rate. Once your website grows and hits a resource limit, you can upgrade to their cloud or VPS plans.

6. Where are Hostinger’s servers located?

Hostinger’s headquarters are in Kaunas, Lithuania. Its servers run in the USA, Europe (France, Germany, the Netherlands, Lithuania, and the United Kingdom), Asia (Indonesia and Singapore), and South America (Brazil).

That global spread showed in our response time test, where Hostinger averaged 227 ms across 6 regions.

7. Does Hostinger offer a free domain name?

Yes, Hostinger includes a free domain name for the first year with its shared hosting plans. After the first year, the domain renews at the regular registration price, which is standard across hosting companies.

8. Which Hostinger plan should I get?

We recommend starting with their Premium plan. It covers 3 websites and includes a free domain, which is more than a new site needs.

Upgrading later takes a few clicks, so there is no reason to overbuy on day one.

  1. It’s been a very pleasant experience. So far, they’ve met all my expectations and at a very reasonable price.
In short, I have no complaints about the service provided.

  2. Hostinger made migrating my site from a previous host very easy. Their hPanel is easy to work with, hosting is very affordable and the free extra domain is a real bonus!

  3. I have been with a number of hosting companies over the years but I think I will stay with Hostlinger. Their pricing is good and they offer more than just website hosting. Kodee, their AI assistant is great at helping me set things up.

  4. This website host is great, and the technical support is the best ever! (I have been developing web sites since 1999, when Microsoft FrontPage came out, and I was trained to be a Microsoft Mentor in order to teach students to develop their OWN wen pages: that was ‘the cutting edge’ in 1999, because people did not have their own web pages back then!)

I am learning how to work with the GUI, and it is very logical!

  5. Hello, I’m happy to provide some feedback.

As I was getting interested in a VPS, I chose to ask the Kodee system for information. Perhaps my question wasn’t clear, which made it impossible to get a quick answer. Kodee repeatedly asked the same questions, to the point where I had to leave the chat and search for the information myself on the website’s main page.

    • Hello Taweerote,

Thank you for sharing your feedback! Sometimes, Kodee asks follow-up questions to better understand your needs and recommend the best approach for your situation.

We’d also like to review your interaction so we can improve your experience. Since we couldn’t locate your account, we’d appreciate it if you could send us a message at quality@hostinger.com.

      Best wishes,

  6. Hostinger is the best hosting site I know. It would be even better if it offered the ability to host audiovisual files so could manage them directly.

  7. My experience with Hostinger has been great so far. The user interface is simple and easy to navigate, making website management smooth even without advanced technical skills. The server speed and response times have been excellent—I noticed a significant improvement in my website’s loading times compared to previous hosts I used.

Most importantly, their customer support is outstanding. I received quick and professional responses to all my inquiries, even outside regular business hours. The pricing is very reasonable for the quality of service provided, with various plans that suit different needs.

I highly recommend Hostinger to anyone looking for reliable and affordable hosting, whether you’re a beginner or a professional.

    • Hello Eyad,

We’re happy to hear our service has made things easier for you. Your feedback really encourages us to keep improving!

      Cheers,
      Benefi from Hostinger

  8. Hello,

I used Hostinger for about a year and it was a pretty solid website and builder. I am cancelling the service and turned off auto renewal only due to the fact I don’t use the service and won’t be using it or any of the competitors for the foreseeable future. I would like to highlight that they make the UI and UX of turning off auto renewal super easy and simple. There’s not shady or scummy practice of trying to hold a subscription hostage, and they even sent me a reminder email that I would be billed.

I just appreciate the honesty and will absolutely be recommending this service to colleagues every time someone needs help with a website. Class act company. I wish you all well.

  9. Hostinger has worked out well for me. I tried several other hosting sites in the past, and they were all more difficult to use and more expensive. There is a learning curve to all unfamiliar software, but WordPress on the Hostinger site has been less difficult to get to know. I prefer basic WordPress, but they do have their own web builder that is more simple for the beginner. I think it is worth it in the long run to “bite the bullet” and learn WordPress, especially if you want a commercial website. I have both a personal (author) website, as well as an e-commerce site. Unless they do something drastic, like significantly raise prices, I plan on staying with Hostinger for the long term. Feel free to check out my two sites that I built with Hostinger

  10. Hostinger has been phenomenal for setting up my vintage chauffeuring website. I especially like how I can create blogs and curate my memories and stories.

Things have gone so well I’ve started a domain for my vintage car club. I really appreciate the intuitive interface and templates for beginning and constructing a site.

  11. Love the AI, ask Kodee assistant. It helps me with every question along the way of building my site.
I can build my site step by step with Kodee. No disappointment.

  12. I started using Hostinger a few months ago and very happy with it. I think they’re more up to date with the changing AI space. I like the layout and visual widgets for my site. It’s all been easy to use. The AI Chatbot has been helpful, too – for prompt suggestions and questions about WordPress. I was with Namecheap for 8 years but just feel Hostinger is more modern and has made an effort to stay with the changing online landscape.

  13. Hostinger is the easiest site I have used to obtain web domains and email accounts. Everything is writen in clear non-jargon language.

  14. If you’re looking for a web hosting provider that combines affordability, performance, and ease of use, Hostinger is one of the best choices on the market today. Whether you’re a beginner, a small business, or a developer managing multiple websites, Hostinger offers a range of services to fit your needs.
Hostinger is a solid all-around hosting provider, especially for those starting out or looking for great value without compromising on performance. It delivers fast speeds, strong reliability, and an easy-to-navigate interface making it perfect for blogs, portfolios, small businesses, and growing online projects.
If you’re on a budget but still want reliable and feature-rich hosting, Hostinger is a top contender worth considering.

  15. Hello,

I’m really enjoying the platform and the domain. I run a construction company, and having a website and corporate email is very important for communicating with our clients.
    Thank you very much!

  16. I had forgotten I’d even had an account with Hostinger until a reminder of payment email was sent. It came at a perfect time. I had just recently purchased a domain name and email through Go Daddy and was so frustrated with their process and the not so ‘ease of use’. I now have a new domain through Hostinger. The options are much more than what Go Daddy offers; including pricing. One negative; I do prefer talking with customer service; though I haven’t had any frustrating issues with Kodee.

  17. I am using Hostinger from last few months and til now there is no problem as a WP Begginer.

  18. I have been using Hostinger Hosting for many years and in that time I have been extremely happy with the product. The ease of creating additional websites is nothing short of amazing, easy, intuitive and great automation.
I would recommend Hostinger to anyone that requires a reasonably priced hosting with great service. Keep up the good work. A very happy customer.

  19. I have taken forever to create my website because i have not been quite ready to launch for over a year! Every time I go back in to tweak or create something, I get all the help I need.

I put a landing page up to hold it and it looks great as does the “Under Construction” page.

  20. Guys,❤️.
I love Hostinger. I been with them a year now. And I can say they are the “Best”. So, simple and easy to use. Keep up the good job Hostinger.

  21. I am working with hostinger from last 3 4 years and they are very good. Worked with GoDaddy they have very bad services. but after coming to hostinger things went smooth.

  22. The best beginner user friendly site ever!!!! Someone is ALWAYS available on chat to answer your questions when you are in the middle of a website crisis “like me” to bail you out before losing everything! What a huge plus!!!

    • Hey, Angie,

We love hearing this. We’re glad it felt easy to use from the start, and that live chat jumped in during a tricky moment to save your work!

      All the best,
      Team Hostinger

    • Hey, Daniel,

So good to hear the no-fuss setup and steady performance suit you. We’re glad it’s a great fit!

      All the best,
      Team Hostinger

  23. Hostinger provides a web service platform that is user-friendly and affordable. Making web content edits are mostly easy and can be done from a computer or smart phone.

    • Hey, Raymond,

That’s the experience we’re all for! Thanks for sharing it.

      All the best,
      Team Hostinger

  24. I moved my domain to Hostinger to use their AI Website Builder. I had seen a YouTube video that showed how it worked. I used ChatGPT to do Deep Research on my target market, then created the website using the Hostinger AI Builder. I just had to enter a couple of sentences, and the AI built my site. Then I copied and pasted from the ChatGPT research onto the website where needed and selected images to change (most of them free in the Builder). My site was completed in just a few hours from scratch using this for the first time. Future sites will be much easier, I’m sure.

    • Hi, Michael,

Great to hear you’re happy with the AI Website Builder, and that the free image library made tweaks easy. Moving your domain and layering in your market research sounds like a smooth combo.

  25. I migrated my website to Hostinger in 2024, and the experience has been great so far. Hosting is affordable, servers work reliably with very rare disruptions, and the range of services offered is large. Some things I appreciated in particular are the free permament SSL, thoughtful customer support, and the ability to create website backups at any time. Hostinger is also transparent about their pricing – even though renewal prices are higher than initial ones, they are not hidden and can still be easily paid off as your business keeps expanding. Overall, I recommend Hostinger’s services and consider them a great alternative to many existing web hosting companies on the market.

    • Hi, Tair,

We’re glad the switch to Hostinger was smooth. Great to hear the clear renewal pricing works for you.

      All the best,
      Team Hostinger

  26. I’ve been using Hostinger for a coupleYears now and I’ve only had a positive experience.

When I initially signed up, I did so under the wrong settings but the account management team was able to get me fixed within an hour.

The dashboard is pretty easy to navigate and I haven’t had any issues finding the areas or information that I’m looking for.

There has been minimal, if any downtime. I plan on continuing to use the service for as long as I’m hosting my site and I’ve referred friends to do the same.

    • Dear Manuel,

Thank you for sharing your journey! We’ll keep doing our best to support you whenever you need.

      Best regards,
      Team Hostinger

  27. Great Performance at an Affordable Price
I’ve been using Hostinger to host my website, and the experience has been excellent. The uptime is reliable, the speed is impressive, and the dashboard is clean and user-friendly. What I appreciate most is the value for money—affordable pricing without compromising on essential features. Their support team is responsive whenever I’ve needed help.
Highly recommended for freelancers, bloggers, and small business owners!

    • Hello,

Thank you for choosing Hostinger. We’re glad to hear that the value we provide meets your expectations. If you need any assistance, our team is always ready to help!

      Cheers,
      Team Hostinger

  28. Thank you for recovering my account! My two-factor auth was giving me issues. I’m glad there was another way to assist me in getting into my account!

    • Hello, Junella,

It means a lot that you shared your experience with us, and we’re happy we could work together to recover your account.

Whenever you need a hand, just let us know.

      Best regards,

  29. I’ve been using Hostinger to run my WordPress blog, and so far, the experience has been smooth, reliable, and beginner-friendly. As someone who isn’t a professional developer, I was looking for a hosting platform that’s easy to use but still powerful — and Hostinger delivered.

Setup was simple and fast. With just a few clicks, I installed WordPress and had my blog up and running in no time. Hostinger’s dashboard is clean and intuitive, which made it easy for me to manage everything without feeling overwhelmed.

One of the biggest highlights for me has been the speed and performance. My site loads quickly, and I’ve had no major downtime or technical issues. For the price I’m paying, I think the value is excellent.

Also, their customer support has been really helpful. On the rare occasion I had a question, they responded quickly and clearly — even late at night.

Overall, I’m very happy with my choice. Hostinger has made blogging with WordPress simple and stress-free, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone starting a blog or looking for reliable hosting.

  31. My Experience with Hostinger:

When I first started learning about hosting and domains, someone introduced me to Hostinger and even helped me get started by purchasing a hosting account and one domain using their credit card.

Everything worked fine for the first year, but when it came time to renew my domain, the stored credit card (the other person’s) was declined. Unfortunately, I couldn’t update the payment method — I tried adding my own card, but the system didn’t let me replace the old one.

Because of this, I was unable to renew my domain and eventually lost it. It was a frustrating experience, especially as a beginner who was just getting familiar with how hosting and domains work.

I believe Hostinger could improve this process by allowing users to easily remove old payment methods and add their own. If that option had been available to me back then, I could have saved my domain.

    • Dear Pasang,

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We understand the challenges you faced and want to support you as best as we can.

You can manage your payment methods from the Billing section in your hPanel. There, you can add a new card, set a default payment method, or remove any old cards by clicking Remove.

If you have any questions or need assistance, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our Customer Success team at support@hostinger.com.

      Best wishes,
      Team Hostinger

  32. BEWARE OF HOSTINGER! I transferred several domains to Hostinger to save money and did it carefully, two months in advance of their expiration date. One of the domain transfers was NOT completed by Hostinger, although they charged me full price. I just found out that while it was unlocked, someone else purchased the domain. Hostinger refuses to take responsibility and this was my startup business domain! I WILL NEVER USE THEM AND WANT OTHERS TO BEWARE OF THIS- NO SERVICE, NO PHONE CALLS, NO HELP, AND WORST OF ALL, THEY RUDELY DISREGARD YOU WITHOUT TAKING ANY RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEIR MISTAKES. SHAMEFUL.

  33. Hostinger’s a cheap, restrictive penny-pincher that just holds you back.

With Hostinger, it feels like going backward — maintenance and downtimes are too frequent, the SLA is a joke. They impose heavy restrictions and filters that block scripts, breaking essential automated tasks like basic Google feeds. Support is hard to reach, and when you finally get through, they blame everything on “unoptimized queries.” But these scripts are part of the website and essential for automation — which is the path forward for modern sites.
We started with Basic Cloud, then upgraded to the Cloud Professional plan. Each plan works well at first, until their system gradually adds restrictions. These penny-pinchers ended up being worse than basic shared hosting.

  34. After trusting Hostinger with my business websites, I was shocked to find both of my sites abruptly suspended without investigation. Hostinger acted on false reports from a malicious individual who has been targeting my business, and instead of verifying the claims, they took down my sites, jeopardising my livelihood and hard-earned SEO rankings.”

This reckless action has severely impacted my business, and Hostinger has shown a complete lack of accountability or support. If you’re considering hosting your website with them, think twice. This company prioritises baseless accusations over their customers’ success.

  35. If you enjoy watching your website fall apart before your very eyes, missing files, and complete technological chaos, then Hostinger is the hosting service you’ve been waiting for. I’ve never encountered such a cluster of incompetence in my life.

I signed up for a VPS, thinking I was getting something manageable and reliable. Instead, I got a glorified paperweight. My VPS stopped working, my files mysteriously vanished (no idea where they went), and guess what? Zero help from their customer support. They couldn’t even offer basic assistance — just endless automated responses, and no one to actually solve the problem.

If you’ve ever dreamed of paying for a service that guarantees nothing works, Hostinger is your perfect match. Their “unmanaged” VPS was a joke, and when I needed help, I might as well have been asking a brick wall. You can forget about customer service — it’s like they’re actively avoiding solving your issues.

If you want the ultimate headache for your money, Hostinger is the gold standard. Otherwise, run. Don’t even look back. You’re better off hosting your website on a dial-up connection in 1998.

    • Dear Tanya,

Thank you for your feedback. It helps us improve our services and create a better experience for our customers.

Our VPS plans are built to give customers maximum control and customization. Because of this, our support for these plans is limited. We highlight that they are self-managed on the sales page (in the Q&A section) to ensure customers have all the information needed to make the best decisions for their projects.

We’re conducting an internal investigation on your account, but please share any remaining important points with us via quality@hostinger.com. We’ll be happy to listen.

      Best wishes,
      Team Hostinger

  36. I usually have good support from hostinger. This time, i got one of the worst support ever ; no desire to help whatsoever, super quick replies (AI?), too quick. In the end, my issue was not resolved. Prices are good, i still recommend hostinger for its services. But support is going down, no way to rate them either.

  37. l current use Hostinger and their services has been top notch. While they have a responsive customer support system, it sometimes looks like those reps are not fully knowledgeable on some questions they pose to them. I once chatted their support to inquire if my current plan (single hosting or so) is available but the man said no. I had to visit their website and I saw the same plan right there. Disjointed responses on even simple enquiries like this can make customers question the reliability of such organization.
