I searched and reread the post announcing the giveaway of the BlogWorldExpo giveaway, and nowhere does it say you can’t enter twice. So I thought I’d write again to say “I REALLY REALLY WANT TO GO!!!” I’ve been thinking of nothing else other than Blog World Expo for a week. I’ve been scouring the conference schedule, dreaming over which conferences I’d go to: I can honestly say there is one I’d learn from in every time slot! As a blogger who really wants to branch out, I can only imagine how much I can learn and experience. Please consider choosing me. It would make a huge difference in my blogging, and my life!

    Hi WPBeginner,

Love your tweets. I’ve been blogging for a couple years, and usually have unique insights and perspectives to share. I’ve come to feel that my visibility is low and overall that I’m not getting the true WordPress experience. I would love the opportunity to learn more so that I can share my work with a wider audience.

    Thanks,
    Adan

Oooh I think this is such a great idea and so generous of you. I got to my first ever BlogWorld last year and it was a big investment for me but so worthwhile. I’m busy waiting on whether my speaker submission will be accepted but I’m assuming not given it’s now 1 May.

I will be leaving Buenos Aires next week just to be back in the states with the hope that I can get along to this amazing event that definitely changed my views on blogging forever and would love to get a free pass.

    Thanks a ton

I deserve to win the #BWENY pass because I am coming up on my 5th anniversary as a blogger, and I have never been to BWE! I am obsessed with all things blog, especially WordPress, and I would scream the praises of WP Beginner from the rooftops for the entire conference.

Why do I deserve to win? Because I am Jen of course. ;)

But if THAT’S not a good enough reason then I guess I’ll add that I’m pretty awesome too. err I mean, no, I mean I’m pretty awesome.

On top of being the awesome Jen, I’m a single mom to two teen girls. Now that right there is reason enough, yeah? Teenagers are tres loco with their bipolar relationships and Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde attitudes. Mummy needs a break and what better than going to an awesome Expo that she has yet been able to experience?

I do not envy you having to choose a “WINNER”. But, I totally deserve a chance to go to BWENY-
After beating a life threatening illness, I decided to quit working outside the home and take care of our family. Now that the kids are older, I am ready to take my blogging to the next step- and start making it a bigger part of my life and experiences! I had no idea about BWENY until I saw a tweet of yours.. and now I am OBSESSED with it. I am prepared to leave my husband alone on the night of our anniversary, farm my kids off to neighbors, and stay at my mother in laws house (!!!) to go. I would be so grateful for the opportunity to go and learn! I;m even writing poetry about it!
All the stuff I do on my computer,
My poor blog could use a good tutor
    Blog World Expo, I know
Is the place I should go
To learn how to make it much better

    Blog World Expo will
Teach me to grow and expand
    My blog horizons

Just imagine how much better they will be if I actually get to go!

First off I want to thank you for this amazing opportunity. Ever since I saw a similar giveaway on John Chow’s blog I’ve been dying to go.

Why do I deserve to win this pass?
I’m a 17-year-old blogger. I run http://www.EpicLaunch.com, a multi-authored blog for young entrepreneurs. The site’s been growing steadily for over a year. There’s an awesome community and an amazing team of writers. We consistently publish quality content in order to inspire young entrepreneurs around the world.

All I could say is Blog World looks incredible. I know it’s an experience that would completely change my life. It would give me the opportunity to network with other amazing bloggers and learn an endless amount.

I also go to school about 20 minutes away and if I had the opportunity to go this event I would hop on a subway in a second and forget about school :)

    Thanks again.

Do I deserve a pass? I’d like to think so, but there are probably others that deserve it more.

I am a blogger (I have 2, working on a 3rd), all WordPress. I am also a “soon-to-be” small business owner (almost ready to launch) since my position was eliminated at my former company this year. This is “the” conference that I need to launch my company with confidence and assurance that I have covered every aspect from legal to website/blog content.

I have missed many conferences this year due to the high cost of attending. Between the costs of the conference, travel & lodging, it is just too cost prohibitive to go from the West Coast (not too worry, I can make the flight and have lodging lined up, just in case).

This conference is a treasure trove of information, learning, networking and sharing. The lineup of speakers on the interactive schedule is phenomenal. I can live tweet, I can post to my social media blog and share all the fabulous information that will come out of this to my friends/ followers who can’t go, all courtesy of @wpbeginner.

I will learn more at this conference than I can attending assorted webinars. I can ask direct questions and get immediate results. I can share that information and put it to use immediately.

This would also be my first time to New York. Can’t think of a better way to dive in and see NYC.

The resources you provide on your website are the best, I’ve been here over and over in the past year.

Thank you for the opportunity to win a pass.

I would love a free pass to Blog World. I love in the New York City area, so I will be able to go if I can get a ticket. I love blogging and blogging using WordPress. Your site has been a big help for me. I am self-employed and money is tight. I would hate to miss Blog World with being so close. I enjoy meeting new people and learn new things so I can share it with others.

Why I Deserve to Go? Deserve is probably too strong a word; and I would imagine there are other people who might have more influence, or name recognition, or Social Media Prowess…

But in terms of wanting to go?? Recognizing the chance to learn? Eager to take this opportunity to the next level? I probably hit the bulls-eye for those.

Fundamentally I am LEARNING, and LOVING what I learn. I’m hoping to be the “WPBeginners” success story!

Over the last two years, I have been teaching myself about blogging and social media. I have have been studying design, learning about WordPress, and then applying what I’ve learned. Right at the heart of that process has been the information I’ve gained from your blog. Almost every day, I find myself on this site reading something new or from your archives! It’s like a gold mine.

Using that information, I’ve launched a small design business and now my first eBook (on moving from Blogger to WordPress of course!). Yet I know I’ve barely scratched the surface – there is so much more to learn! Each day is a new adventure, time to tackle a challenge and stretch my skills. I love it.

In light of that, going to BWE in NY would be incredible. The chance to interact and learn from experts in such a forum is almost beyond my dreams (and travel would be no problem since I live in New York state). My heart pounds just thinking about it! However, even if you don’t pick me, I’ll keep loving your site and recommending it to every WP blogger I know. Keep up the great work!

I think I should win because I not only created my book review blog with tips and tricks from WPBeginner, but to be able to attend BlogWorld in addition to the BEA and Book Blogger Convention would just make that week the best of the year. I can only imagine all the amazing things I would learn at the seminars as well as the great people I would meet. Unfortunately, money is tight so I can’t afford it on my own, but I don’t want to miss this opportunity to see it all that week.

My tweet is located at https://twitter.com/#!/TheDanLevy/status/63637444918124545 and I already got 2 people to RT it in the time since I tweeted it and started writing so I am decidedly helping spread your message.

As to the why, I started the WordPress PostADay2011 Challenge on January 4th. Since then I have been learning more and more from my own experiences blogging as well as from fellow bloggers I have met in the Toronto community and on Twitter. As well, since the Fall of 2010 I have been posting on a Canadian cellular blog almost daily as well.

Before this, I blogged infrequently over the past couple of years but blogging daily is a completely different experience.

I want the opportunity to learn from some of the best out there and the speakers you have lined up look amazing. I really enjoyed The Thank You Economy (even wrote a blog post about it) and would love to hear Gary Vaynerchuk speak live. I also regularly read C.C. Chapman and Chris Brogan’s thoughts online and, likewise would love to hear them impart some wisdom.

[Oh, and although I live in Canada I am a dual citizen (CAN-US) so no VISA issues to worry about. I don’t think there would be for going to a conference even if I was only Canadian but I saw you were concerned about with the person from Thailand above so thought I would mention that.]

I would love to win the pass to BlogWorld East! As a young professional who plans on branching out on her own, I believe the sessions offered at BogWorld [especially the personal branding ones] are something I could benefit greatly from. I was fortunate enough to attend BlogWorld 2010 in Las Vegas and met amazingly inspirational people. This year I would love to not only attend the sessions which will best prepare me to offer the best services to my clients, but meet some of the speakers which I admire [hello Gary V, Jason Falls, Jay Baer & Chris Brogan anyone?]. Covering my expenses will not be a problem, I will actually already be in NYC that weekend, so I can extend my trip a couple of days :)

I’ve been out of college for a year and in a job that I feel has no growth potential. I’ve been searching for a route out and investigating becoming an entrepreneur by launching my own new media and web design consulting biz. I’m still searching for the “way” to do that and don’t have any formal training or education on blogging or web design. It’s something I taught myself during my journalism undergrad at the University of Kansas out of sheer interest and passion. I know I will own my own business some day, just not sure how to get started. I know this conference would give me the boost and the encouragement I need to get off the ground.

Last night I went to bed bummed because I wasn’t selected to be a speaker at BWEast. And this morning the first thing I read on Facebook is your contest! I sent out the requested tweet http://twitter.com/phylliskhare and here’s the rest of the story…

I’m a new writer for Wiley – I’m a co-author for the upcoming Facebook Marketing All-in-One for Dummies with Amy Porterfield and Andrea Vahl (two of the best people on the planet) on the shelves June 28, and another product called Social Media Marketing eLearning Kit for Dummies. The nice bit about Wiley is they will video tape you at a major conference to post on the Amazon page for the book and this helps a lot with promotion. I have the money for travel, but the retail ticket to get in is way out of my budget! Now, I could wait until BW in LA in November BUT that’s the exact day of my Dad’s 80th birthday AND my daughter first baby’s due date! So there’s no way I’m going to LA when both my Dad and daughter are in FL and NC! I want so much to be able to go to NY and learn from the best, and meet and greet, and get my first book off the ground. This opportunity for a free ticket is FABulous!! I’m sure there will be amazing submissions for this ticket – I don’t envy you trying to choose. No matter what – I will continue to promote and share and RT your work. Thank you for this opportunity. What a nice way to start the day!
