Attention! This Book Will Make You Money (Book Review)

This past week one of our good friends, Jim Kukral, sent us his newest book called “Attention: This book will make you money: How to use attention-getting online marketing to increase your revenue” which is published by Wiley. Even though the title might sound a bit sketchy, it certainly does a great job grabbing the attention. Jim has been mentioned in some of the known sources like: Forbes, Brandweek, Entrepreneur, The Wall Street Journal, New York Times, BusinessWeek, Inc., Small Business Trends, and others. So you can see that this guy know what he is talking about. Here is our short review of this book:

ATTENTION! This book will make you money, is a 277 page running case study on grabbing attention wherever you can find it. Written by Jim Kukral, an online entrepreneur and internet marketer, this book seeks to educate small and large businesses in how to stand up and stand out in a saturated economy. This book teaches you how to go beyond whoring your product around the internet and how to start making a real impact on your customers and the media. The book is a mix of case studies, interviews, and probing questions that asks readers to ruminate on what they are doing to market themselves and why. Kukral frequently integrates his own experiences with those of innovators like Scott Ginsberg, Kevin Savetz, Sean O’Connor, and the question mark guy. If you want to gain attention to your blog, business, or product, these are definitely the guys to learn it from. Divided into three sections, ATTENTION the book, gives you theory, case studies, and a how to, for making money on the web. If you run a business or are starting one, this is a book you need to read.

ATTENTION the book is a fantastic resource for business people everywhere. Kukral writes like a conversation, inviting you to invest your time and yourself into the book and your ventures. When you finish the book, you not only want to shake Kukral’s hand, you want to revolutionize your world. Take yourself beyond viral videos and flash in the pan marketing and bring yourself to Kukral’s level, real, honest to goodness attention marketing.

Because Syed and Jim had a good time talking at Blog World 2010, he has agreed to giveaway 10 signed copies to our readers. That’s right signed by the legend Jim Kukral himself.

How do you win a copy? Well just like you win everything else on this site. Simply tweet about it:

Yes, but how many of those are actually published by Wiley? Most of those that you are talking about are ebooks published by self-proclaimed experts. Jim has been in Wall Street Journal, NYTimes, and other top sites (This guy is no joke)
