WordPress SEO Plugin just got Better (Free Page Content SEO Analysis)

The best SEO plugin for WordPress just got BETTER with the free page content SEO analysis. Joost de Valk a.k.a Yoast, announced the big news yesterday that his plugin now integrates with Linkdex which offers complete page analysis making Content SEO a lot easier for beginners. Normally you would have to pay for this type of service, but it is 100% FREE for all WordPress SEO by Yoast plugin users. There are no registration required, no other catches! Yoast clarifies this in his post because Linkdex is also a paid service.

You are probably wondering what the heck is this Content SEO Analysis? Well let us show you. Once you install Yoast’s WordPress SEO Plugin, you will see a widget added in your post/page write panel. This widget lets you customize meta title, description, keywords, pick focus keyword and much more (It is highly recommended that you do this for all of your posts if you want superb SEO results).

Yoast WordPress SEO Post Snippet Preview

Once you enter the information for your post, click on the Page Analysis tab, and it will give you a report about your page content. For example take a look at the image below:

It tells you what you are doing wrong (with the exclamation mark), what you can improve on (with the yellow OK button), and what you are doing a good job with (green check marks). It also uses Flesch Reading Score to determine whether your article is easy to read or not. This can also help you write better content for your readers.

In another image, it shows all positive results. This is what your goal should be (to have a perfect report for all pages).

    Hi Editorial Staff,

For optimization, free plugins like Platinum SEO, All in One SEO Pack, WordPress SEO by Yoast and even the premium seo plugins are all great, but I always suggest looking at a side-by-side comparison of the best seo plugins for WordPress in order to make an informed decision of what the best plugin is for that blogger and their website’s specific needs.

    Here’s my most recent write-up:

You also don’t want to overload/bog down WordPress resources with too many bulky plugins as well.

Great article btw…I’ll be referencing this post on my main blog.

Just curious… If i switch to Yoast from all in one seo what kind of errors and problems may occur?

    • Editorial Staff says:

None, if you transport your data the right way. Use StudioPress SEO Data Transporter that we talked about in this site, to transfer your SEO data from your current SEO plugin (or your theme) to Yoast’s SEO. Then its a happy trail.
