Often time you want to redirect your user’s attention to a specific page. This page can contain products, special note, or anything else. Most bloggers tend to use pop-up ads or send emails to their users, but those methods are not very well liked. This WordPress plugin called Comment Redirect has the power to redirect your user’s attention.
This plugin redirect your first time commentators to a WordPress page of your choice. This is an excellent plugin to use if you want to thank your first time commentators. You can send them to a page where you have written some kind words for them. (Here is our Thank You Page)
Now that is not the only use. Like we stated above, you can simply select any page. So it can be your new book, or any other product that you want to market. This can become a great way to share some of your older resources. The limit is your imagination with this plugin’s use because you can literally have any type of organization in the redirected page.
To use this plugin, you must create a page. Then download the plugin and activate it. Use the settings to select which page you want the users to redirect to. And you are good to go.

Nice stuff!!!
However I have a question.
Will it work for the sites using 3rd party plugins like Disqus or IntenseDebate?
No it will not.
Thanks for the tip, look forward to trying this out.

We are using it on our site, and it is working fine.
Very very useful plugin! It makes the readers feel unique and that their comment has power. Thanks for sharing!
This loos really awesome and I can’t wait to try it. I think it would be awesome to have a thank you page with links to a couple of your most popular posts!
Never mind, sorry…you can delete my comment since the ‘test’ comment went to my Spam folder instead.
Thanks for this article. I had set up the page and the plugin seems to be working fine. But I have a little question, the new visitor they will get redirected to the page I wanted right but when I test it (using proxy site), I typed a comment and it took me to the page I picked (Welcome page) but the comment isn’t recorded. Won’t this frustrate new visitor since they will then have to go back to whatever they wants to comment in the first place?
Thank you, this is plugin I need
